3 best clubs because that’s all that you will be
allowed to use. Individual stroke play.

APRIL 12TH MODIFIED STABLEFORD
SYSTEM
Point system based on net score. Double
eagles=5; Eagles=4; Birdie=3; Par=2; Bogey=1; Double
bogey =0
MAY 10TH BEAT YOUR BUDDY
Grab your foursome or we will match you with
one. Each player in the foursome will play 6 holes
match play against the other three competitors.
May 26TH MEMORIAL DAY
OPEN
Add your handicap to par and play until you
have used that many strokes. Place your flag down
at that point. Winner is determined by the golfer
that places his flag furthest around the course.
You do not have to be a MGA member to play, so bring
a friend. All players must have an approved
handicap.
JUNE 20TH, 21ST, 22ND
3rd ANNUAL MGA MEMBER/GUEST
This is a very special event. Friday
afternoon Shoot-Out followed by a Player Party.
Saturday morning Shotgun start at 8:00am. Saturday
evening dinner with guest and spouses/significant
other. Sunday morning Shotgun start at 8:00am.
Lunch and awards ceremony following round. The
early Sunday tee time will allow our out of town
guest ample time to return home without having to be
pushed for time.
JULY 12TH FIRECRACKER
CLASSIC
Individual net stroke play.
AUGUST 9TH DOG DAYS OF AUGUST
6-6-6
First six holes scramble, followed by six
holes of alternating shot and finishing with six
holes of low ball.
SEPT. 20TH, 21ST
CLUB
CHAMPIONSHIP
Individual stroke play. Saturday tee times
starting at 8:00am. Sunday tee times starting at
8:00am. Award ceremony following Sunday’s final
round.
OCTOBER 11TH GOONS & GOBLINS
Two man team-alternate shot.
NOVEMBER 8TH TURKEY DAY CLASSIC
Final points tournament of the year to
determine our Player of the Year. The top four
points leaders will play 6 hole match play against
each other. The next 4 in the standings will play
each other, etc., etc.
DECEMBER 13TH JINGLE
BELLS CHARITY CLASSIC Individual stroke
play. Entry fee will be donated to charity.
Generally
tournaments will fall on the second Saturday of each
month. Please mark your calendars now and start
making plans to participate in the MGA events.
All
tournament players must ride.
Play should be completed in 4 hours and 15 minutes.
DEADLINE FOR ALL TOURNAMENT ENTRIES IS THE
FRIDAY BEFORE TOURNAMENT DATE AT 12:00 PM.
