2012 MGA Tournaments  
 
 JANUARY 14th            2 MAN SHAMBLE
Random computer paired partners before the tournament. 
Both players tee off, select a drive and then both players
complete the hole from that point.
Score will be the combined low net of the team.
9:00am shotgun start.

FEBRUARY 11th            6 TEE CLASSIC
Individual Stroke Play with all 6 tees in play. 
Players tee off from their respective tee and will move
back one set of tees each time they make par or better. 
Players move forward one set of tees each time they make
a bogey or worse.
9:00am shotgun start.

FEBRUARY 15th - MARCH 9th      SPRING MATCH PLAY SIGNUP   
Double elimination match play. 
Play starts March 12th. $30 entry fee.

FEBRUARY 4th - 5th      INTERCLUB WITH WILDFLOWER   
  Round 1 at Wildflower CC
Round 2 at Twin Rivers Golf Club

MARCH 10th & 11th       MEMBER/MEMBER PARTNERSHIP
Grab your MGA partner, knock the rust off and get ready to rumble. 
This is a 2 day tournament. 
  Day 1 consists of 9 holes scramble and 9 holes alternate shot.        
Day 2 will be the low net of the team.

 APRIL 14th          MODIFIED STABLEFORD SYSTEM
Point system based on net score.  Double Eagles=5; Eagles=4; Birdie=3; Par=2; Bogey=0; Double bogey =-1

MAY 12th             INDIVIDUAL STROKE PLAY
Stroke play, net score.

JUNE 8th, 9th & 10th     7th ANNUAL TRGC MEMBER/GUEST
  Friday afternoon Shoot-Out followed by a Players Party. 
Saturday morning Shotgun start at 8:00am. 
Saturday evening dinner with guest and spouses/significant other. 
Sunday morning Shotgun start at 8:00am. 
Lunch and awards ceremony following round. 
The early Sunday tee time will allow our out of town guest ample time to return home without having to be pushed for time. 

JULY 14th       RED, WHITE & BLUE FIRECRACKER CLASSIC
Individual net stroke play.  Rotate playing from 3 different tees.

AUGUST 11th           THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT 6-6-6
First six holes scramble, followed by six holes of alternating shot and finishing with six holes of low net. Pick your own partner.

SEPTEMBER 10th - 21st      FALL MATCH PLAY SIGNUP  
Double elimination match play. 
Play starts October 2nd. $30 entry fee.

SEPTEMBER 15th        PICK YOUR PARTNER SCRAMBLE
     Two man Scramble. Score low net of the team.

 OCTOBER12th, 13th & 14th(Tentative)     CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP
54 Holes of individual stroke play.  Tee times at 2:00pm on Friday, 8:00am on Saturday and Sunday beginning at 1:00pm.

NOVEMBER 10th         TURKEY DAY CLASSIC
     Individual stroke play.

     DECEMBER 8th             JINGLE BELLS CHARITY CLASSIC      Individual stroke play.  Flight winners will decide on the charity of their choice to have the entry fees donated to.
9:00AM shotgun start.

 Tournaments will normally be played on the second Saturday of each month.  Players will receive 100% of their USGA handicap.
Please mark your calendars now and start making plans to participate in the MGA events.

Players may either ride or walk in all tournaments. 
Play should be completed in 4 hours and 15 minutes.

 DEADLINE FOR ALL TOURNAMENT ENTRIES IS THE FRIDAY BEFORE TOURNAMENT DATE AT 12:00 PM. 

TOURNAMENT ENTRY FEE IS $25 FOR ALL EVENTS,
EXCLUDING THE MEMBER/GUEST AND
THE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP.
LUNCH IS OPTIONAL AND NOT INCLUDED.

ALL PLAYERS WITH A USGA HANDICAP INDEX OF 0.0 TO 9.9
WILL PLAY FROM THE GOLD TEES.
PLAYERS WITH A USGA HANDICAP INDEX OF 15.0 AND ABOVE WILL PLAY FROM THE BLUE TEES.

PLAYERS WITH INDEXES BETWEEN 10.0 AND 14.9 MUST CHOOSE WHICH TEE THEY WILL PLAY FROM
AT THE TIME THEY ENTER THE TOURNAMENT.
