MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

1.    Membership dues are $35 per year, and due before the first tournament entered.  All players must be in good standing regarding payment of membership dues in order to participate in MGA events.

2.    All prize money will be paid out in Pro Shop merchandise credit.  All credits must be settled before the end of each calendar year. It is the member’s responsibility to work with the pro shop staff to settle credit issues.

3.     All play will be governed by the USGA Rules of Golf.  Local and/or tournament rules may be established at each tournament.
All questions regarding rulings will be settled by the club golf professional.

4.     Tournament players may either ride or walk.

5.     All members must have a USGA approved handicap index from a club that employs a PGA Golf Professional.  If a handicap has not been established, you will be allowed to play with a zero handicap until your handicap is established.

6.     Each tournament will be flighted.  Players with a USGA index between 0.0 - 9.9 will play from the Gold tees.  Players with a USGA index of 15.0 and above will play from the Blue tees. Those players with an USGA index of 10.0 - 14.9 must choose at the time of entry which tee they will play from.

7.     Members must post all scores for handicapping in compliance with GHIN.  Failure to turn scorecards may result in a score posting of 72.

8.     Players are encouraged to abide by the recommended pace of play of 4 hours 15 minutes established by the USGA.

9.   Players are expected to abide by all club rules. Example: 90 degree cart rule, cart path only rule, not bringing alcoholic beverages on to club property, etc.
