Mike Hicks, General Manager & PGA
Director of Golf
Mike serves as both the Director of Golf and
General Manager. A Class A Member of the PGA,
with over 20 years in the golf club business
at resort, private and daily fee clubs, he
has the experience necessary to insure a
wonderful golfing experience. "I believe
that customer service is paramount, and that
the entire staff must be trained to create a
friendly, business-like atmosphere to ensure
returning patronage", says Mike.

Shelley Westerfeld, Accounting Manager
Shelley has managed the accounting
department since the opening of the club
more than six years ago. Having graduated
both from high school and college here in
Central Texas, Shelley says "It's great to
be part of the Waco community. I'm proud to
be part of the Twin Rivers Golf Club team
and will strive to provide excellence in all
areas of the golf business."

Travis Moore, Course Superintendent
A member of the Golf Course
Superintendent’s Association of
America, and a Texas A&M University
graduate, Travis grew up working at Ridgewood
Country Club, and was involved with
the construction of the City of
Waco’s Junior Course at Cottonwood
Creek. While attending
Texas A&M, he completed
an internship at The Honors Course,
near Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Following graduation from A&M, he
became an assistant at Willow Fork Country Club in Katy.
Travis states, “As the superintendent I feel it is
my responsibility to ensure that
the playing conditions are as good as
possible on a daily basis. I'm
excited to be a part of the Twin
Rivers team, and look forward to
constantly improving our facility.” |

Jeff Hughes, PGA Assistant Golf Professional
A life long resident of Waco, attended
and played for both McLennan College and
Baylor University golf teams. Jeff
recently completed his professional
education and was elected into PGA
membership.
